PHOTOS AND MIXES ADDED

I've added two new pages, a "Photos" page highlighting a small collection of photographs from past performances and a "Mixes" page in the "Music Downloads" section offering an ever-growing archive of mixes under my Linear A moniker. Mixes 001 and 002 are available now and shift from hyperkinetic dance music to droned improv and everywhere in between. I hope you enjoy.

VDSQ RECORDS

The VDSQ (Vin du Select Qualitite) Records website is up and the first three volumes in the series (Joshua Blatchley, Mark McGuire, and Chirs Brokaw) are now available! I recommend snagging them all before they're gone, and keep an eye open for the next batch!

NEW POETRY ON DEAR SIR,

The wonderful "Dear Sir," poetry journal has posted two recent poems entitled "I sound like this, you sound like that" and "I called home and said, 'I like it here very much,'" respectively. The poems' source material was a body of written and recorded work collected during a stay in Japan and The Netherlands. Using a Max/MSP patch, the written bodies (poems, journal entries, etc.) were reformed by the frequencies of field recordings in an attempt to reconcile the expressionistic word with a heard truth. At the bottom of the page is a collage of utilized field recordings called "My Picture Take My Picture". I've included a download link to the recording in the "Poetry" section of the website.
