FMA PLAYLIST / NEWS

Free Music Archive invited me to curate a playlist of my favorite Homophoni releases. You can find that below. Also included in the playlist is my WFMU session with Irene Trudel.

I'm currently finalizing the recordings of my second solo guitar album, which if all goes according to plan, will hopefully emerge early next year. I'm also incubating a new Fabric album that will take the project in a slightly new direction. This too may hatch in 2012.

WFMU SESSION DOWNLOAD

I spent the first two weeks of August travelling the East coast playing two new (and os of yet untitled) compoisitions for solo guitar. Before I returned to Chicago, Irene Trudel invited me to a WFMU session where I had the opportunity to play said pieces, talk about my influences and revisit older works. It just aired yesterday and is now available in the archives as a download--I appear at about the 1 hour mark.

Also, look for a review of my VDSQ Solo Acoustic Vol. 4 in the most recent issue (September) of Wire.

Also, Steve Lowenthal, the suave proprietor of VDSQ records, recently posted some live footage snagged on the May VDSQ West Coast tour. I'm featured playing a section of a new and unreleased piece.

In April, Impose Magazine interviewed me and we discussed my perspective on solo guitar, synthesizers, and synthesis.

I've also updated the reviews section with some kind words from Zen Effects and Shades of Eternal Night
